XIIIth Forum of the Association of Sport Performance Centres (ASPC) at INSEP
Published on
This event effectively contributed to one of the ASPC's main objectives: to promote excellence in sports centers through collaboration and innovative leadership methods.
Gathering 170 leaders of sports centers of excellence from over 30 countries and 5 continents, as well as french political, economic and sports decision-makers*, this forum enabled an enriching sharing of experience and knowledge in the field of elite sport, drawing parallels with the business world.
"International cooperation, the international promotion of French expertise and the exchange of expertise represent the backbone of INSEP's action in the field of international relations. A dimension that takes on even greater importance with less than a year to go to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024," emphasized Fabien Canu, General Manager of INSEP.
Participants also had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of Paris 2024 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, where they were given a presentation on the preparations inherent in such a world-class event.
The forum helped establish INSEP's influence and strengthen its reputation as a unifying and attractive sports center for the forum's participants. It also helped to strengthen an international network that is already very active and effective in the field of high-level sport.
*Speakers included Nicolas Hieronimus (L'Oréal CEO), Julien Issoulié (DTN of the French Swimming Federation), Juan Herrera (Visa Marketing Manager for France, Belgium and Luxembourg), Marie-Amélie Le Fur (President of the French Paralympic and Sports Committee), Emma Terho (IOC Board member), Cédric Borremans (Director of the Olympic and Paralympic Division at Toyota France), and Kenny JEAN-MARIE (Director of FIFA's Member Associations Division), among others.
