Conférence Internationale : "Using Environmental Stressors to Achieve Peak Performance: From Evidence to Avenues to Explore"

The various sessions on the programme for the international conference :
- Training & competition: Modern approaches to training and competition by exploiting environmental stressors;
- Olympic Support - The French (HYPOXPERF) & Japanese experiences: Feedback from French and Japanese Olympic support;
- Nutrition: The impact of nutrition on optimising performance under challenging environmental conditions;
- Recovery & rehabilitation: Environmental-based strategies to maximise muscle regeneration and return to play.
This conference will provide a rich opportunity to explore the latest advances and innovations in the use of environmental stressors to optimise performance. It will also encourage exchanges and the sharing of experience between the different professions involved in the 360° support of top-level athletes: researchers, coaches and sports health professionals.
The conference also aims to provide a post-Olympic Games 2024 debrief on the strategies adopted by the main federations that have benefited from support, while looking ahead to Milan-Cortina 2026 and Los Angeles 2028. The results of the HYPOXPERF research project will be presented, providing an overview of the latest advances on both chronic altitude exposure and hypoxic training and its application to sports preparation.
