Clarisse Agbegnenou is now the most decorated female French athlete in the history of the judo world championships. When she won her fourth world title in 2019 in the under 63 kg category, after previously winning in 2014, 2017 and 2018, Clarisse Agbegnenou, who also took home an Olympic silver medal in 2016 and four European golds, has already secured her place in the history books at the age of just 26.

Romane Dicko représente l’avenir du judo féminin français. Révélée au haut niveau 18 ans en décrochant le titre de championne d’Europe +78kg (2018), elle a depuis imposé son statut sur la scène internationale en y ajoutant 2 autres titres de championne d’Europe (2020, 2022), une médaille de bronze olympique en 2021 et surtout un titre de championne du monde en 2022.

Romane Dicko compte bien continuer son ascension en décrochant l’or à Paris 2024.

Olympic champion in the over 100 kg category in 2012 and 2016, bronze medallist in the over 100 kg category in 2008, 10-time world champion in the over 100 kg category between 2007 and 2017, world champion in the open category in 2008 and 2017, Teddy Riner could further cement his place in sporting history if he wins a third consecutive Olympic title in Tokyo in 2020.
