Published on
Chaired by Fabien Canu, General Director of INSEP, the meeting was an opportunity to review the network's mobilizations in 2023, present national and international updates, discuss the reception of delegations for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and validate the roadmap for the coming year.
On this occasion, Mr. Jean-Marc Serfaty, ministerial referent for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, presented and answered questions regarding the circular concerning school arrangements to strengthen students' sports practice. Mr. Daniel Zielinski, ministerial delegate for francophonie at the Ministry of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, presented the challenges and objectives of the roadmap for developing the Francophonie in sport.
It also provided an opportunity to present the Grand INSEP 2025-2028 label, which will be built around four pillars:
- Staying well
- Providing support
- Involving and developing the local ecosystem
- Commitment to a national dynamic
This new label, aimed exclusively at structures that implement public service policies for top-level sport, will seek to meet the following objective: to be a reference center, close to and at the service of top-level athletes and their coaches.
This RGI Strategic Council meeting provided an opportunity to discuss upcoming deadlines for the centers with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, as well as the outlook for the grand INSEP network for the 2025-2028 period.
